Welcome Message from the Convener
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to TEMTIA12 – the 12th International Conference of the EMT International Association, to be held in Taipei, Taiwan.
At a time when research on epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) is rapidly expanding in scope, scale, and translational significance, TEMTIA12 is convened with a clear sense of purpose. We see this meeting as an essential forum for the EMT community to come together, reflect collectively, and help define the directions that will shape the field in the years ahead.
Progress in EMT research increasingly depends on our ability to move beyond individual disciplines and traditional boundaries. Addressing the complexity of EMT in development, disease, and clinical contexts requires sustained dialogue across fields—connecting fundamental biology with advances in technology, computation, and clinical practice. TEMTIA12 is therefore intentionally designed as a cross-disciplinary platform, where diverse perspectives can intersect and inform one another in meaningful ways.
With a strong emphasis on translational and clinically relevant research, TEMTIA12 brings together scientists, clinicians, and industry innovators from around the world. Through focused sessions, in-depth discussions, and interactive formats, the meeting is designed not only to showcase new discoveries, but also to foster collaborations that extend beyond the conference itself.
It is my sincere hope that TEMTIA12 will serve as a moment for the community to align perspectives, challenge assumptions, and build connections that move the field forward.
Please join us in Taipei for TEMTIA12 and we look forward to the exciting and stimulating scientific exchanges!
